To format the SD card on Windows computer, go to Disk Management, right-click on the SD card, choose Format and follow the on-screen tutorial.◊ Apple Card Monthly Installments (ACMI) is a 0% APR payment option available to select at checkout for certain Apple products purchased at Apple Store locations,, the Apple Store app, or by calling 1-800-MY-APPLE, and is subject to credit approval and credit limit. To format SD card on Mac, go to Disk Utility, select the corrupted SD card, click on Erase, and then set for Name and Format for this SD card. Get files off the corrupted SD card first to avoid data loss. 08 Recover Data & Reformat the Corrupted SD Card. Reinsert the SD card to the slot and see if you can work on the SD card. Make sure the Lock switch is slid up (the unlock position).

In Mac Disk Utility, select the SD card that is not working, then click and run First Aid to repair SD card errors and corruption.

Expand Disk drives, right-click on the SD card to update driver. Search for Device Manager in the dialog box and open it. Update the available software, especially that's related to SD card's functions. Click on the Apple logo and choose System Preferences.
